Appuvinte Sathyanweshanam: Appu in search of Truth Malayalam movie directed by Sohan Lal. Features Master Rithun and AV Anoop in the lead roles. Produced by AV Anoop and Mukesh R Mehta under the banners of AVA Productions in association with E4 Entertainment, CV Sarathi is the co-producer.

Appu lives in Manjadikunnu, a peaceful Kerala village, with his father, mother, and grandfather. Appu's grandfather, Gandhi Jotsyan, was a faithful ‘Gandhian' who never strayed from the path of righteousness. Grandfather Gandhi jolsyan has instilled a strong sense of goodness in Appu. His father, Mohandas, on the other hand, was a guy of poor morals, and his mother, Anitha, lies on a daily basis.

The film premiered in the USA and Russia. The film was screened at the USA San Diego International Children's Film Festival and the Nadim Film Festival in Russia. The award-winning film has already garnered critical acclaim.

Synopsis

Appu is a nine-year-old child who is facing a moral dilemma. Appu has failed his exam, and his teacher has requested that he obtain his father's signature on the answer sheet. Appu's friend Jithu urges him to covertly copy his father's signature since he is scared about the thrashing he will receive from his father.
Appu now has to pick between doing the right thing and doing the wrong thing. Is it better to commit forgery or not?
