Backpackers, a Malayalam romantic drama movie based on a True Story. Along with the most talented Kalidas Jayaram and debutant Karthika Nair in the lead also starring Renji Panicker, Shivajith Padmanabhan, Ullas Pandalam, Jayakumar, and Sabitha Jayaraj. Screenplay and directed by Jayaraj. Produced by Dr. Suresh Kumar Muttam, under the banner of Prakriti Pictures.

The cinema has been shot in mesmerizing locations of Kottayam, Vagamon, and Varkala.

Backpackers movie world premiere on 16^th March of 2021 only on Roots OTT platform. The cinema is planned to release on February 14^th of 2021 Valentine's Day and postponed due to some technical reasons.
