Debut Gopikrishna Varna, who will play the lead role in 'Thirike', has been introduced in the video titled 'Introducing Our Superstar'. 21-year-old Gopi is suffering from Down Syndrome, a native of Kozhikode, who is notable for his TikTok videos.
The film is directed by newcomers George Kora and Sam Xavier. The film is produced by Abraham Joseph and Deepak Dilip Pawar under the banner of Nationwide Pictures. George is one of the screenwriters of the movie 'Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela'.
The first look promo video of the film Unveiled on 12th October 2020 through social media handles of Malayalam's own megastar Mammootty and the notable young actor Nivin Pauly.
Thirike movie is released as an OTT release through Neestream on February 26th of 2021.

Synopsis
Thomas and Sebastian, are brothers who lost their parents at a youthful age. Their uncle sent them to an orphanage and Sebastian who had down syndrome was received by a Muslim couple. At the point when both of the siblings are grown up, and Sebastian is presently Ismail. The film shows the situation that develops in these siblings' lives when Ismail, otherwise known as Ismu's unexperienced parents Fathima and Rafeeq, discloses to Thomas that they are wanting to take Ismail to the middle east for better training.
