Thirimali Malayalam comedy movie starring Bibin George, Johnny Antony and Dharmajan in the lead roles and Anna Reshma Rajan is the heroine. Swastima Katka, a superheroine from Nepal, plays an important role in this film. Salim Kumar, Innocent, Hareesh Kanaran, Sohan Seenulal, Edavela Babu, Kochu Preman, Naseer Sankranthy, Aziz Palakkad, and Thezni Khan also play the lead roles. After the super hit movie Shikkari Shambhu, under the banner of Angel Maria Cinemas, SK Lawrence produced the movie. Directed by Rajeev Shetty, who has worked in a number of films with directors like Rafi McCartin and Shafi, is co-writing the screenplay with Xavier Alex.

Swastima Katka and young actor Umesh Tamang are also coming to Mollywood. Swastima is a superheroine in Nepali cinema and she has won the hearts of the audience with her super hit movies like Love Love Love, Chakka Pancha 2, and Bulbul. Bulbul is considered to be an Oscar entry from Nepali cinema. Swastima appears in a song scene in Thirimali.

The main locations are Kulu Monali, Nepal, and Kochi. Some of the crucial scenes in the film were shot in Lukla and Pokhara in the Himalayan valley. Another location was Kathmandu, the Capital of Nepal. The second phase of filming was in Manali, Town in Himachal Pradesh. Some parts of Spiti Valley, a cold desert mountain valley in Himachal Pradesh, and its environs were filmed. The last phase is shooted in Kochi.

Baby is a young man who runs a small lottery business in Kerala. His best friend Peter and Alexander, a money lender, came to Nepal on a trip together. Their journey and the events they encounter there are presented through very interesting moments. In the meanwhile, the film conveys some of the life-affirming messages to society.

The film has four songs including one Hindi song. Famous Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan sings the Hindi song. Mammootty has released the lyrical video song 'Kathangalayi Pokunnitha ...' on his Facebook page on 20^th January 2022. The video was then shared on social media by Sunny Wayne, Hareesh Peradi, Irshad Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Major Ravi, and director Vinayan. This lyrical video was released in Saina Music. The song is sung by KS Harisankar and the music is composed by Sreejith Edavana with the lyrics by Vivek Muzhakkunnu. This is the first time that journalist Vivek (MM TV) has penned the lyrics for a movie. The title song of the movie is sung by Bibin George, Dharmajan, and Johnny Antony.

The teaser launch was done by screenwriter Uday Krishna. The switch-on was done by Shafi and the first clap was performed by Rani Lawrence on Vijayadashami, 26^th October 2020.

Thirimali movie was released in theaters on January 27^th of 2022. The movie was censored with a clean ‘U’ certificate. The digital release of the movie Thirimali is on 1^st April 2022 through Manorama Max in India and through Simply South outside India.
