Malayalee wins award at the Swedish film festival

Malayalee presence at the Swedish Film Festival for Best Actor. Producer and actor Dr. Mathew Mambra has won the SIFF Award for Best Actor at the Swedish International Film Festival.

Dr. Mathew Mambra won the award for his portrayal of the 72-year-old hero in the film Veil Veelave, written and directed by Shanub Karuvath. 'Veyil Veezhave' is a film in the anthology 'Cherathukal' which is a collection of six stories by six debutant directors. Another important character in the film is played by Marina Michael. Dr. Mathew Mambra has previously acted in films like ‘Moments’ and ‘Devaloka’. Kunchacko Boban starrer 'Nayattu' is the best film of the year at the festival.
