Chattambi Malayalam movie is directed by Abhilash S Kumar. Features Sreenath Bhasi in Chattambi as the lead character with Chemban Vinod Jose, Grace Antony, Binu Pappu, Guru Somasundaram, Mythili, and Assif Yogi. The movie Chattambi is produced by Assif Yogi under the banner of Art Beat Studios and Siraj, Sandeep, Shanil and Jesna Ashim are the co-producers. The story and original screenplay of the movie by Don Palathara and the additional screenplay and dialogues by Alex Joseph. Alex also handled the cinematography of the movie.

The movie Chattambi tells the story of a rural Chattambi in the backdrop of Idukki in the 1990s.

The title poster of the movie Chattambi was unveiled on 29^th November 2021 by director Karthik Subbaraj. The first look poster of the movie has released on 7^th May 2022. In the context of Idukki in 1995, the trailer of Sreenath Bhasi starrer Chattambi has been released on 12^th September 2022.

As part of the promotion of the movie 'Chattambi', a cool Onam song "Engattu Nokk" was released on 18^th July 2022. Actor Sreenath Bhasi himself has sung the song "Ingattu Nokk Pichi Poothath" after the "Parudeesa" song from Bheeshma Parvam. The festival song fills the habit of the folk songs penned by Kripesh and the music is composed by Sekhar Menon.

The shooting of the movie has been completed in Thekkady, Idukki district.
