Gireesh Puthenchery Award for Asim Kottoor

Thiruvananthapuram: Journalist, writer, and filmmaker Asim Kottoor have won this year's Girish Puthenchery Award instituted by the Snehasparsham Foundation.

Famous film star Prem Kumar presented the awards at a function held at Thiruvananthapuram Press Club on February 12^th, 2022.

The awards were presented to 18 talents who have excelled in various fields in memory of the 18 greats of Malayalam literature and sports. Writer Smt. Sajitha Ratnakaran presided over the function. Snehasparsham Foundation Chairman Pachallur Suresh Madhav delivered the keynote address.
