1744 White Alto Malayalam comedy crime drama movie directed by Senna Hegde, writer cum director of the popular and multi-award winning Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam. Features Sharafudheen as the hero of the film 1744 White Alto with Vincy Aloshious, Rajesh Madhavan, Navas Vallikkunnu, Arya Salim, Anand Manmadhan, Sajin Cherukayil, RJ Nilja K Baby, and Ranji Kankol. The movie 1744 White Alto is produced by Mrinal Mukundan, Sreejith Nair, and Vinod Divakar under the banner of Kabinii Films and Ambili Perumbavoor is the executive producer. The screenplay of the movie is written jointly by the director Senna Hegde and Sreeraj Raveendran, who has done the cinematography and the additional screenplay is by Arjunan. The chief associate director for the film 1744 White Alto is Sudhish Gopinath and Shanker Lohithakshan, Ajith Chandra, and Arjunan are the associate directors.

1744 White Alto, as the name suggests the central character of the movie is a white Maruti Alto car. The movie is set in an unnamed location in Northern Kerala. Vijayan, a thug, becomes embroiled in a case of mistaken identity. His automobile is exchanged with Ebi and Kannan, two small-time thieves. With the local cops on their trail, Mahesh and his squad embark on a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase. What follows is a succession of comedic blunders. On its path to an unexpected finale, the novel is full of satire, suspense, and violence.

The film 1744 White Alto in which Sharaf U Dheen plays the role of a cop is a film that emphasizes humor and satire. Sharafuddin says that this is a very different character which he has never done before and the teaser shows that the premise and context of the story are very different set in Kanhangad.

After the National Award-winning film Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam, movie buffs were eagerly waiting for Senna's next film. Senna won the Filmfare Award for Best Director and the State Award for Best Story for Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam.

Synopsis

Mahesh, a SI in this imaginary country, is given the opportunity to look into a murder. He is able to learn from the witnesses that the incident was committed by two men and that they left in a white Alto car. In 1744 White Alto, we see the police's efforts to track down these two people as well as all that occurs during their search.
