Matinee Live is a completely different OTT platform in Malayalam. Badusha, a well-known producer and project designer, and producer Shinoy Mathew have started, and Fahadh Faasil and Prithviraj Sukumaran launched the OTT platform's logo. Matinee's director's hunt for the search for talented new directors has garnered a lot of attention. Thirty directors are selected in three stages and the best director is selected. The best director selected from the above 30 directors gets a rare opportunity to direct a film produced by Matinee. Actor Kunchacko Boban had earlier announced the top ten directors selected for the post. Then ten people from the second phase have already been selected. The ten directors of the third phase have now been selected. This will put an end to the Director's Hunt.

The best video out of the 30 selected videos will be given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh by Matinee. In addition, ten directors have the golden opportunity to direct a web series produced by Matinee herself. It also offers a cash prize of Rs 10,000 for 29 videos. The winners will be selected by a 10-member jury. The winners of the third round of the Martini Director's Hunt will be announced by renowned Malayalam film industry actors, directors, and producers Siju Wilson, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Bibin George, Jibu Jacob, Sugeeth, Leo Thaddeus, Nishad Koya, Kannan Thamarakulam, Shinoy Mathew and NM Badusha.
