Thiruvananthapuram: Vigilance SP Mohammad Shafi inaugurated the Freedom Fifty, the cultural body of the State Alcohol Abstinence Committee, at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club Hall.

Freedom Fifty Chairman Russell Sabarmati, Women Convener Priya John, Vice Chairman Robert Sam, Poet Karyavattom Sreekandan Nair, Guruvayoorappan Associates Director Anil Kumar, Andoorkonam Grama Panchayat President Nilayam Hari, Movie stars Bheeman Raghu, Kanakalatha, Joby, Tom Jacob, Kottayam Rasheed, Director Arjun Binu also spoke.

Individuals who have proved their ability in various fields were honored at the function. Vigilance SP Mohammad Shafi presented Rahim Panavoor with the Karma Shrestha Award for Film Media.
