Spy Malayalam action extravaganza movie directed by renowned editor Garry BH and his debut as a director. Features young star Nikhil Siddharth in and as the title character Spy after Karthikeya 2. Aryan Rajesh, who is returning to cinema after a hiatus, plays a major role in the film. Iswarya Menon is the heroine and Sanya Thakur plays an important role. The movie Spy is produced by K Rajashekhar Reddy on ED Entertainments with Charantej Uppalapati as CEO. The movie is being edited by the director Garry himself and renowned Bollywood cinematographer Keiko Nakahara and Hollywood DOP Julian Amaru Estrada are handling the camera for the film. The screenplay for the film Spy is written by Anirudh Krishna Murthy from the story by the producer K Raja Sekhar Reddy. The action sequences are overseen by Hollywood stunt directors Lee Whittaker and Robert Leenan. Abhinav Gomatam, Makarand Deshpande, Jisshu Sengupta, Nithin Mehta, Ravi Varma and other stars are also lined up in the film.

The manner of Subhas Chandra Bose's death and his famous quote, "You give me blood I will give you freedom" | "Tum Mujhe Khoon Do, Main Tumhe Azadi Dononga" remain mysteries, the spy talks about the following incident: The movie is entirely different from other spy thriller films. Producer K Rajashekhar Reddy has informed that the film is a full-length action spy thriller.

The movie will premiere worldwide in theatres on June 29^th of 2023. The film Spy is distributed in Kerala by E4 Entertainment. Nikhil himself announced the new release date on 18^th June 2023. The work on CGI is ongoing, using over 1000 CGI animators from four different studios, and the filmmakers are attempting to finish the work relatively rapidly.

The non-theatrical rights to the film Spy have now been sold for a significant sum of money. The non-theatrical rights were purchased by Amazon and Star Network for about Rs 40 crore. This sum is Nikhil's best earnings to date. The rights were bought after viewing a few of the movie's sequences and giving a favorable review.
