The film Samam tells the story of an extraordinary bond between a mother and her daughter. According to Babu Thiruvalla, Samam presents a different theme that no one has presented in Indian cinema so far.

Babu Thiruvalla, as a producer of many films like Oru Minnaminunginte Nurunguvettam, Amaram, Savidham, etc. He has won state, national and international awards as the writer and director of Thaniye and Thanichalla Njan. After a break, Babu Thiruvalla directed the film Samam for Symphony Creations. The shooting of the film Samam started in and around Thiruvalla.

Nimmi in Samam movie is Sheelu Abraham's strong character. Sheelu said that she was very satisfied to be given the opportunity to play this character, which rivals the strong female characters in Indian cinema. Babu Thiruvalla says that he decided to do Samam as he felt the need to bring it to the audience, a phenomenon that rarely happens in India itself.

Synopsis

Nimmi George and her daughter Anna had a bond, unlike any mother and daughter. Nimmi took care of Anna like gold as her husband died earlier. Through the film Samam, Babu Thiruvalla presents the later developments in their lives. Nimmi's life was completely devoted to yoga. Believing that all religions are one, Nimmi tried to impart yoga to others.
