State Bus Malayalam movie is directed by Chandran Narikode. Features Santhosh Keezhattur, Vijilesh, Shivadasan, Sadhanandan, Siby Thomas, and Kabani in State Bus as the lead characters. The movie State Bus is produced by Aiby Raveendran and Padmakumar under the banner of Studio C Cinemas and the co-production is Touchstone group.

The state bus movie team, distributed the awards to the winners of the cartoon competition held at the state level on the theme of 'Aanavandi'. Actor and artist Kottayam Nazeer distributed the awards in a function held at the Ernakulam Press Club. Rajindra Kumar, who won the first position, was given a cash award of Rs 10,000 and a prize in the name of late famous Indian political cartoonist Yesudasan. Cartoonists Dinraj, Subhash Kallur, Madhus, Basheer Kizhisseri, Anoop Radhakrishnan, Navas Konompara and Geethu Balakrishnan also distributed encouragement prizes on the occasion.

The organizers of the State Bus Cinema said that in a press conference, the theme of the 'Aanavandi' cartoon competition is to portray the current situation of our KSRTC bus service which is progressing through the crises through satirical way. The first-placed cartoon of State Bus will be promoted as the main poster of the film. The best cartoons were selected by a jury consisting of cartoonists headed by prominent cartoonist Prasannan Anickkad. Actor Santhosh Keezhatoor, Director Chandran Narikode, Cartoon Academy Chairman Unnikrishnan, Hamsakoya, Basim Hussain AH, and PRO PR Sumeran also participated in the press conference.

The music for the film State Bus is composed by Vidyadharan Master. The first single song "Pularkalamegham" was sung by Vijay Yesudas.

State Bus movie will be released in theaters on December 9^th of 2022, a Happiness Studios Release. The film State Bus release in 8 languages - Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, and Bhojpuri.
