Granny Malayalam movie is directed by Kaladharan. Features child actors Nivin and Parvathy in Granny as the lead characters. Granny is directed by Kaladharan, who has helmed some great films like Apoorvam Chilar, Nettippattom, and Nagaravadhu and later gained prominence with several popular television serials on major Malayalam Television channels.

The shooting of the movie Granny started on Sunday 24^th October 2022 in Thiruvananthapuram. It all began when screenwriter Vinu Abraham performed the switch-on ritual in Vellayani 'Souparnnika' and the actor Riyas Narmakala gave the first clap.

The music for the film Granny is composed by Jayan Pisharadi with the lyrics by Kaladharan.
