Granny Malayalam movie is directed by Kaladharan R Pillai after 21 long years who has given many newcomers to Malayalam cinema. Features child actors Nivin and Parvathy in Granny as the lead characters. The film also stars Thomas K Joseph, Leena Nair, Shobha Mohan, Jayakrishnan, Biju Pappan, Thirumala Ramachandran, Gayathri Subramaniam, Riyas Narmakala, Suresh Babu in other lead roles. The shooting of the movie Granny started on Sunday 24^th October 2022 in Thiruvananthapuram. It all began when screenwriter Vinu Abraham performed the switch-on ritual in Vellayani 'Souparnnika' and the actor Riyas Narmakala gave the first clap.

The music for the film Granny is composed by Jayan Pisharadi with the lyrics by Kaladharan.
