Kaathal Malayalam movie is the seventh film directed by Jeo Baby. Features Mammootty, the emperor of 'Pakarnatta Kala' in Kaathal with South Indian actress Jyothika as the heroine in the film. The movie Kaathal is produced by Mammootty Kampany Films after Rorschach, which gave the audience a new cinematic experience in theaters. Muthumani, Chinnu Chandni, Sudhi Kozhikode, Alistair Alex, Anagha Akuk, Josie Sijo, Adarsh Sukumaran, and others are acting in other important roles in the film. The screenplay for the film Kaathal is written by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Zakaria.

George Sebastian (S George) is the executive producer and the line producer is Sunil Singh. The co-director of the film Kaathal is Akhil Anandan and the chief associate director is Martin N Joseph and Kunjila Mascillamani. Salu K Thomas is the cinematographer and Francies Louis is the editor.
