Kambam Malayalam movie is directed by eminent production controller Sudhan Raj for the first time. Features directors Thulasidas, Sajin Lal, producers NM Badusha, Manraj, Lakshmi Devan, prominent production controllers Eldo Selvaraj, Shyam Tripunithura, Harshan Pattazhy, Arun Mohan, Thirumala Chandran, Manoj Valamchuzhy, Gopakumar, Sivamurali, Nikhil L, Laljith, Sreekala Sreekumar, Bibiya Das, Kannada star Nima Rai, Master Abhinav and others are also playing roles in the film. The movie Kambam is produced by the director Sudhan Raj and Lakshmi Devan under the banner of Sense Launch Entertainments. Sudhan himself has written the story and screenplay for the film Kambam. Bindu Haridas, Sarath Sudhan, and Anand Sree are the executive producers. The chief associate director of the film Kambam is Sanoop Sathyan and Gireesh Attingal and the associate director is Ranjith Ragavan.

Thulasidas plays the role of Chandran Pillai, the patriarch of an ancient rural clan, and Badusha plays the role of CI Mohammad Iqbal, a cop in the film Kambam. The atmosphere is set in a thriller mood by focusing on the life and suspense of ordinary people in the village setting. This film is looking for the background of a death that takes place in the midst of the Kambakattu of a local festival. Through it many unexpected mysteries are hidden.

On the set of the Kambam movie, there was a surprise, to see a person in a police uniform and black cooling glasses. None other than prominent producer cum project designer NM Badusha came to the movie set as a policeman. Badusha is playing the role of CI Mohammad Iqbal in the film 'Kambam'. The director Sudhan Raj said that the presentation of the film presents many curiosities.

Leading production controllers were beaten up in Thiruvananthapuram by South Indian fight master Run Ravi. The incident took place on the location of famous production controller Sudhan Raj's debut directing film "Kambam". Hearing the noise in the morning, the locals rushed to the spot, then they realized that an important fight scene in the film was shot. Prominent production controllers like Badusha, Eldo Selvaraj, Shyam Thripunithura, Harshan Pattazhi, and many new faces acted in this scene. Prominent directors and technicians of Malayalam cinema are acting in this film.

The film Kambam is being shot entirely in Thiruvananthapuram and shooting started on 26^th September 2022. The first look poster of the film Kambam has been released on 13^th November 2022.

The music for the film 'Kambam' is composed by Shaji Rockwell and Sunil Prabhakar with the lyrics of Ben Thirumala.
