Sree Muthappan Malayalam movie is directed by Chandran Narikode. The film Sree Muthappan features Manikuttan, Madhupal, Joy Mathew, Babu Annur, Anish Pillai, Chef NalaN, Munshi Ranjith, Meera Nair and Ala S Nayana as the lead characters. The movie Sree Muthappan is produced by Sachu Aneesh under the banner of Pratidhi House Creations. Prominent playwright Biju K Chuzhali and director have scripted for the film Sree Muthappan and the screenplay research was done by PP Balakrishna Peruvannan. Child actors Prithvi Rajeev, Krishnan Nambiar, Nadam Murali, Sreehari Madamana, Subodh Shetty, Vinod Mothanga, Unni Njarakad, Vinod Plathottam, Usha Payyannoor, Vidishita, Veena Venugopal and many other newcomers are also lined up in this film. Child actor Prithvi Rajeevan, Krishnan Nambiar, Nadam Murali, Srihari Madamana, Subodh Shetty, Vinod Mothanga, Unni Njerakad, Vinod Plathottam, Usha Payyannur, Vidishidha, Veena Venugopal and many other newcomers are also lined up in this film.

The cinematography of the film was handled by Reji Joseph. Prithvi Rajeev is a child actor who will be introduced through the movie Sree Muthappan along with many new faces.

The new look poster of 'Sree Muthappan', has been released by Parassini Madappura Sannidhanam Thiruvappana and Sree Muthappan along with Manikuttan who plays the lead role of Muthappan in the film.

This is the first time that Sree Muthappan's story is coming to the screens. The film tells the tale of Sri Muthappan, the all-seeing God who has fought for centuries to free the caste- and occupationally subjugated people of North Malabar. Sree Muthappan is North Malabar's own conception of God who loved man and nature like gold derived from this movie. The film was shot in various parts of Kannur locations, including Kunnathur and Parassinikadavu.

The official first look poster of 'Sree Muthappan' directed by Chandran Narikode was released on 6 March 2024 by Aju Varghese and Padma Sri EP Narayana Peruvannan.

The switch-on of the movie Sree Muthappan was performed in Kannur Kunnathurpadi Muthappan Devasthanam, by Kunnathur Padi Vanavar Kunhiraman Nayanar. The shooting of the movie will take place in Kannur and surrounding areas. The first phase of the film 'Sree Muthappan' directed by Chandran Narikode and starring Joy Mathew, Ashokan, and Anumol has been completed in Kannur. The shooting of the movie was completed in Parassinikadavu and Nanicheri at Kannur.

The music for the film "Sree Muthappan" is composed by Ramesh Narayan with the lyrics penned by Muyyam Rajan. The dance choreographer of the film is Santhosh Karippal.

Sree Muthappan movie will be distributed by Kamadhenu and will hit the theaters in the second week of May 2024.
