Citadel is an Amazon Prime Video action spy thriller web series directed by the Russo Brothers, the makers of superhit films like Avengers Infinity War and Endgame. Priyanka Chopra is playing the lead role in the series and Richard Madden, who played Robb Stark in Game of Thrones, is also playing the lead role. In addition to Priyanka and Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci, and Lesley Manville also appear in the series.

The series had its world premiere in London as Citadel, an original series from Amazon, got ready for its Prime Video debut on April 28. The London premiere of the programme, which stars Richard Madden, was attended by Priyanka Chopra-Jones, Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville, executive producers Joe and Anthony Russo, and showrunner David Weil. In order to launch an exciting espionage world, agents from the whole franchise teamed up for the London premiere. Prime Video has revealed the premiere date for the highly-anticipated action-spy thriller Citadel, and the series will premiere on Prime Video on Friday, April 28 with two adrenaline-fueled episodes. The landmark, high-stakes drama is executive produced by Russo Brothers' AGBO. and showrunner David Weil, and stars Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci, and Leslie Manville.

The plot of the series revolves around the collapse of Citadel, an independent global spy agency, and with the fall of Citadel, escaped agents Mason Cain and Nadia Sin build a new life under new identities, unaware of their past, and once again embark on a mission for the safety of the people.

The Citadel collapsed eight years ago. The independent global spy agency tasked with upholding the safety and security of all peoples has been destroyed by the operatives of Manricore, a powerful syndicate that rules the world from the shadows. With the fall of the Citadel, elite agents Mason Cain (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sin (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) lose their memories and barely escape with their lives. They have been in hiding ever since, building new lives under new identities unaware of their past. That is until Mason is discovered one night by his former Citadel colleague Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci). His help is desperately needed to stop Manticore from creating a new world. Mason searches for his former partner, Nadia, and the two spies embark on a mission that spans the globe as they fight to stop Manricore, a relationship built on secrets, lies, and dangerous but undying love.
