Thanaaraa Malayalam movie is categorized as a comedic entertainer directed by Haridas. The primary cast of the film includes Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Aju Varghese. The new movie's pooja and opening ceremony were performed on 31^st March 2023. The pooja event was held at Aldrins Nellola Banglow in Ramapuram near Pala, and the chief guest was Shri VN Vasavan, Government of Kerala Minister for Cooperation and Registration. Bhadradeepam has been performed by producer Joby George, scriptwriter Rafi, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, producer Biju V Mathai, Father Roshan, and Sneha Babu. The meeting was attended by the cast and crew of the movie. The filming has begun in the Pala-Ernakulam region. 'Thanaaraa' Who Are You, completed filming. The film's primary locations for filming were Pala, Ernakulam, and Goa.

The movie, which was written by Raffi and directed by Haridas, unveiled its first-look poster on 24^th April 2023. The movie, titled "Thanaaraa," features Aju Varghese, Shine Tom Chacko, and Vishnu Unnikrishnan as the key characters. The other prominent actors in the movie are Jibu Jacob, Deepti Sati, Chinnu Chandini, and Sneha Babu. Initially, Pavithra Lakshmi was announced as the heroine.

The music for the film is composed by Bijibal and Sreenath Sivasankaran with the lyrics written by BK Harinarayanan and Vinayak Sasikumar.

Thanaaraa movie will be presented by Oneday Films and released by Goodwill Entertainments.
