The pooja event was held at Aldrins Nellola Banglow in Ramapuram near Pala, and the chief guest was Shri VN Vasavan, Government of Kerala Minister for Cooperation and Registration. Bhadradeepam has been performed by producer Joby George, scriptwriter Rafi, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, producer Biju V Mathai, Father Roshan, and Sneha Babu. The meeting was attended by the cast and crew of the movie. The filming has begun in the Pala-Ernakulam region. 'Thanaaraa' Who Are You, completed filming. The film's primary locations for filming were Pala, Ernakulam, and Goa.

Synopsis

The former home minister's daughter, Anjali, is unhappy with her marriage to opposition MLA Adarsh. She is suspicious of her husband, and, with James's assistance, she keeps a covert eye on his whereabouts. Then there's Thangachan, an "honest thief" who, believing the MLA has left for Delhi, breaks into the MLA's farmhouse. The main plot of Thaanara is the humorous series of events that transpire after Thangachan finds out he is not alone in the farmhouse.
