Genie is a Pan-Indian movie directed by Bhuvanesh Arjunan (Arjunan Jr). Featured Jayam Ravi in Genie as the lead character along with Kalyani Priyadarshan as the heroine. Krithi Shetty, Wamiqa Gabbi, Devayani, and other actors. Dr. Ishari K Ganesh, working under the auspices of the well-known production house Vels Film International, is the film Genie's producer.

The executive producer is K Ashwin and the creative producer is KR Prabhu. The cinematography of the film is handled by Mahesh Muthuswami and the editor is Pradeep E Ragav of 'Love Today' fame.

Jayam Ravi's 32^nd film 'Genie' is a big-budget production. The film's launch, which has a Rs 100 crore budget under preparation, took place in Chennai. The film is the 25^th production from Vels Film International and features Arjunan Jr., a former partner of the famed filmmaker Mysskin. The first look of 'Genie' by Arjunan Jr star Jayam Ravi has been released on 24 March 2024.

With each new movie, Jayam Ravi advances and solidifies his place in the hearts and minds of the viewers. On 5^th July 2023 in Chennai, there was a ceremony to officially introduce the movie Genie.

Genie movie will be released in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
