Vijay Sethupathi's 50th movie is "Maharaja"
The cinematography of the film is done by Dinesh Purushothaman, who is known for his works like Love Today and Vilangu thriller web series. Philomin Raj, the editor of hit films Maanagaram, Kaithi, Master, Vikram, and Leo, is doing the editing. The project designer is V Selvakumar, who has worked behind the magical set works of many films like Iyarkai, Peranmai, Madrasapattinam, and many more.
The Kerala press meet of Maharaja, which is progressing with audience acceptance and house-full shows in theaters, was held on 20 June 2024 at a private hotel in Kochi. Vijay Sethupathi expressed his gratitude for the grand reception given to the Maharaja by the audience in Kerala. The film was released in 100 theaters in the first week with a great response from the audience and continues to run successfully in more than 175 theaters in the second week. Mamta Mohandas said that the script of this film attracted her more. The film's director Nithilan Swaminathan, producer Sudhan Sundaram, and Kerala distributor Hareendran spoke at the press conference.
The title look of the incredibly talented actor Vijay Sethupathi's momentous 50th movie #VJS50, has been made public by spectators titled Maharaja. The big-budget film Maharaja is an out-and-out action drama with elements of crime and thriller.
B Ajaneesh Loknath, the music director of blockbuster Kannada films including Kantara, has composed the music for the film Maharaja. Nithilan's 'Kurangu Bommai' was also composed by Ajaneesh.
Maharaja movie was released in theaters on June 14, 2024. Maharaja was brought to theaters in Kerala by AV Media Consultancy through Sreepriya Combines of Hareendran G. The film Maharaja is coming to Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi on 12 July 2024.

Synopsis
The main character Maharaja owns a tavern and has a daughter who participates heavily in sporting activities. The father and daughter hold a special place in their hearts for the iron dustbin that prevented his daughter from dying in the tragic catastrophe that claimed the life of his wife. A few masked criminals once attacked Maharaja at his home while he was gone from the city for a sporting meet. They stole the dustbin. Maharaja brought the matter up with the police, and the film depicts his tenacious pursuit of those responsible for his injuries and theft of his Lakshmi (Dustbin).LEAD CAST
