Uyiru is a short film directed by debutante Shafin Sulfiker. Features Maala Parvathi, Manoj KU, Faha Fatima, and Firuz Shamir in lead roles. The film Uyiru is produced by Ajai Vasudev, Asif MA, and Suzina Asif. The movie's narrative is developed by Aldrin Pazhampilly.

The executive producer of the film is Nisna Shefin and Mithun Shankar Prasad is the chief associate.

Uyiru is the first film produced by Ajai Vasudev, who has given the Malayalees many popular films. Over the past few years, Shafin Sulfiker has served as Ajai Vasudev's associate director.

The short film, provisionally titled "Production No. 1," had its pooja and opening ceremony in Kochi.

This is Ajai Vasudev's movie after Pakalum Paathiravum. Ajay Vasudev, who made a name for himself as an actor with the films Malikappuram, Margamkali, and Shylock, is once again starring as the main character in the films Picasso, Cutties Gang, and Gauri.

The first look poster of the film 'Uyiru' has been released on 6^th August 2023.
