Synopsis

Aku (Akbar) is a ten-year-old Malabar boy born into a low-income family in the 1990s. He views the nice people in his life as the Devil, or Iblees, and the bad people as Patachon, or God. In his playground, there was a large mango tree. After hearing from others, Akku starts to regard Maa as God. The movie's premise centers on Aku's attempt to defend his deity from his father's attempt to cut and sell flour to alleviate the family's poverty.
