The much-awaited announcement video of the upcoming film 'Chiyaan62' alongside the incredible talents of SU Arun Kumar, GV Prakash, and HR Pictures was unveiled on 28 October 2023. Leading producer HR Pictures has revealed Chiyan Vikram's 62^nd film as a South Indian superstar. The filmmakers also made an announcement video announcing the movie. In a matter of hours, the announcement video—which resembled a teaser for a grand movie—went viral on social media. In just one day, the Chiyaan62 announcement video had over 18 million views on YouTube, making it a trending video.

Director SU Arun Kumar, who has helmed films including Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, Sindhubaadh, and the wildly successful Chitta, is behind Chiyaan 62.

A preview of the intense action in the full-length Chiyaan 62, which starts filming in January 2024, can be seen in the announcement trailer.
