Pithala Maathi is a Tamil movie that blends action, romance, and comedy written and directed by Manika Vidya. Vinutha Lal appears as a district revenue officer who fights against injustice. The sentimental comedy movie "Pithala Maathi" visualizes the changes and problems in the lives of District Revenue Officer Prema Shankar and everyone else with the help of Pithala Maathi (Thari Kida) performed by the protagonist and his friend, depicting the influence of the weaknesses in the personal life of the district officer in the career arena.

The music for the film 'Pithala Maathi' was composed by Mose with the lyrics by Mohanraj, Kavignar Sarathi, and Kathir Mozhi. The singers are Rakshita Suresh and Anthony Daasan. The film's dance choreography is done by Dinesh Master and Dheena Master.
