The movie, which attracted both reviewers and viewers, brought in almost 100 crore rupees in both Hindi and Tamil.

Dr. Varghese Moolan, a well-known businessman from Malaysia, is one of the movie's producers. The movie is made by Dr. Varghese Moolan's Varghese Moolan Pictures, R. Madhavan's Tricolor Productions, and the Hollywood production company 27 Investments. In addition to being simultaneously filmed in English, Hindi, and Tamil, the movie Rocketry also had subtitles in Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada. Simran was Madhavan's heroine, and Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya made cameo appearances. Rajit Kapur, Ravi Raghavendra, Gulshan Grover, Karthik Kumar, Misha Ghoshal, and Dinesh Prabhakar were among the Indian actors that appeared in the movie, along with American performers including Phyllis Logan, Vincent Riotta, and Ron Donachie.

French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Russian, and Japanese were also dubs for the movie. The film was filmed in a variety of locations, including India, France, America, Canada, Georgia, Serbia, and Russia. In order to represent Nambi Narayanan at different ages for the movie, which is based on the era of Nambi Narayanan's life from 27 to 70 years, Madhavan underwent physical transformations that quickly became well-known.
