The untitled movie tentatively titled Thalapathy68 is directed by Venkat Prabhu. Features Thalapathy Vijay in Thalapathy68 as the lead character with Prashanth, Prabhudeva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Yogibabu, and VTV Ganesh. The movie is produced by Archana Kalpathi, Aishwarya Kalpathi, and Venkatmanickam under the banner of AGS Entertainments. Vaibhav, Premgi, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj are also in the #VP_Gang.

Thalapathy68 is the 12^th film helmed by Venkat Prabhu (#VP12), the 68^th movie of Thalapathy Vijay (#Thalapathy68), and also the 25^th film of AGS Entertainments (#AGS25). The pooja for the film was held on 2^nd October 2023.

The music for the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The audio rights for #Thalapathy68 for all Indian languages are acquired by the T-Series.
