Vellimegham movie is directed by famous director Sainu Chavakkadan. Features Vijay Gaureesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Subramaniapuram Vichithiran, Charmila, Sunil Aravind, Rupesh Babu, and Shema in Velli Megham as the lead characters. The movie Vellimegham was produced by Sunil Aravind under the banner of Jet Media Production House for the first film in the Tamil Industry. The screenplay and dialogues for the film are written by Covai Balu from the story of Yadukrishnan.

Tonse Alex is the DOP of the film and Hari G Nair is in charge of editing. The executive producers are Salomi Johney Pulithookkil and Er. PG Ramachandran and the co-director is Pravi Nair.

The pooja of the movie Velli Megham helmed by Sainu Chavakkadan was held last day at the Kalamassery PWD Guest House Hall on 19 October 2023. Ernakulam MP Hibi Eden lit the Bhadradeepam. The audio release was done by GCDA Chairman K Chandran Pillai. The title of the movie was officiated by BJP State Vice President AN Radhakrishnan. The switch-on was performed by actress Charmila and actor Arun.

The shooting of the film Velli Megham will begin on 18 November 2023 in Chennai and Kerala.

The music for the film 'Velli Megham' is composed by Saibalan from the lyrics of Aju Sajan.
