The untitled movie tentatively titled KH234 is directed by Mani Ratnam. Features Kamal Haasan as the lead character in the movie. The film is being produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R Mahendran, and Siva Ananth under the banner of Raj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies.

The much-anticipated Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam collaboration "KH234" has released its crew. Superhit director Mani Ratnam is joined in this film by regular collaborators AR Rahman, who is the music director, and editor Sreekar Prasad. KH 234 is the tentative title for Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's sequel to the adored 1987 classic Nayakan. The cast was featured in a video released on 27 October 2023 by the film's makers.

KH234's cinematographer, Ravi K Chandran, previously worked on Mani Ratnam's Kannathil Muthamittal and Aaytha Ezhuthu. The action choreographer has been named AnbAriv Masters, who worked with Kamal on Vikram. Eka Lakhani designed the costumes for the movie, while Sharmishta Roy handled production design duties. The introduction of the cast list and the film's title are eagerly anticipated by the audience.
