Choppu is a Malayalam movie written and directed by Rahul Kaimala. The film Choppu features Sanil Mattannur, George Kolambil, Tomjacob, Manu Sreekantapuram, Murukan Kattakada, Manu Kallikad, PJ, Viswam K Azhakath, Satheesh Ganapathi. The movie Choppu is produced by Manu Gateway under the banner of Gateway Cinemas. The story and dialogues are written by Viswam K Azhakath.

The life of EK Ayamu, the well-known playwright of Malabar, is becoming a movie. From 1927 to 1967, EK Ayamu was a theater genius who told stories of human love for four decades. Director Rahul Kaimala said that the film aims to mark his cultural life. EK Ayamu's play, 'Jju Nalloru Mansanaakan Nokk', which exposed religious fundamentalism, superstitions, and customs with foresight, also tells the story of Kerala's farmers' progress.

The music for the film 'Choppu' is composed by PJ from the lyrics of Murukan Kattakada, Viswam K Azhakath, Biju R Pilla, KG Unneen, and Mastan K V Aboobacker Ponnani.

Choppu movie was released in Cinemas by Zaga International on February 23, 2024.
