Synopsis

The main character, Raayan, has a younger sister and two younger brothers. Raayan's parents vanished while his sister was a baby, and ever since then, he has been raising his siblings on his own earnings and providing for them. Manickam and Durga, his other two brothers, were quite ambitious, but Muthu, his second brother, was a drunkard with no real purpose in life. At one point, Muthu needlessly got embroiled in the gang battle, and Raayan had to step in to save his brother since the newly appointed police commissioner intended to stop it by causing problems among the gangsters. Dhanush's 50^th film, Raayan, shows us how that intervention causes issues for the entire family and what transpires afterward.
