Rekhachithram Malayalam movie is directed by Jofin T Chacko. The film features Asif Ali, Anaswara Rajan, and Manoj K Jayan as the central characters. Bhama Arun, Siddique, Jagadish, Saikumar, Indrans, Srikant Murali, Nishanth Sagar, Prem Prakash, Harisree Ashokan, Sudhi Koppa, Megha Thomas, and Zarin Shihab, who gained praise for their roles in Aattam, are also featured in the movie. The big-budget movie is produced by Venu Kunnappilly under the banner of Kavya Film Company in association with Aan Mega Media of Anto Joseph. The screenplay for the film is written by John Manthrickal and Ramu Sunil and is based on the story of Ramu Sunil.

The cinematography of the film is handled by Appu Prabhakar, and the editing is by Shameer Muhammed. The pooja for the upcoming film helmed by Jofin T Chacko, after megastar Mammootty's insanely popular film 'The Priest', took place at the Fort Kochi CSI Heritage Bungalow in Ernakulam on 3 May 2024.

Kavya Film Company and Aan Mega Media collaborated on the film, which comes after the great success of Night Drive, Malikappuram, 2018, and Anand Sreebala.

Synopsis

A Kerala Police CI named Vivek Gopinath was suspended for playing online rummy while on duty. He was assigned to a Malakkappara remote station upon suspension. However, a suicide case was recorded in the jurisdiction of his station on the day of joining, and because of the deceased, it was a newsworthy case.

The research conducted by Vivek to determine the connection between this suicide and a missing case that was filed back in 1985 is what is seen in Jofin T Chacko's Rekhachithram.
