The 49th movie of South Indian superstar Chimbu's career has been announced on 21 October 2024. The STR49 is intended to evoke the classic Chimpu. Ashwath Marimuthu, the director of Dragon and Oh My Kadavule, is behind the camera for this movie. The well-known production company AGS Entertainment is producing the movie.
Chimpu expressed his joy at collaborating with his admirer and gifted filmmaker, Ashwath. The movie will be fantastic entertainment that the audience will love in every aspect, Chimpu added.
This is the 27th movie that AGS has produced. Chimpu had previously stated that his upcoming movie would be made in the Gen Z style, just like his popular films, such as Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Vallavan, Dum, and Manmadhan. The moviegoing public is eager to learn who the other actors and staff members are in the picture.
