The first look poster for the next Malayalam film, Chinna Chinna Aasai, which is named after the audience-favorite song from his film, was released by renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam thirty-three years after the release of Roja, which was a tremendous success in Indian cinema. The movie was tentatively titled Production No. 1. The entire movie was filmed in Varanasi, and Mani Ratnam praised the production and said he hoped it would be a big hit.
