The launch of a Malayalam film in the United States was celebrated on a large scale for the first time in the history of Mollywood cinema. Times Square in New York had a celebration of Empuraan's launch. Ten thousand Mohanlal supporters attended the lavish occasion. Here, the Empuraan teaser was shown live for a full day. The fans gave the people of New York a fresh and thrilling experience by welcoming Empuraan with music and dance performances in which about sixty musicians took part. The audience found the appearance of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in the film to be highly captivating.

Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the Aashirvaad Cinemas banner, the movie is scheduled to open in theaters across the globe on March 27. In keeping with the film's March 27 global release, the grand unveiling was staged in a spectacular fashion. On March 16, the event happened at midnight, which is Sunday midnight Indian time.
