There are eleven Indian films in the competition area besides Njan Revathi. Tomorrow is the last day of the festival. Additionally, the picture has been officially selected for the competitive part of the International Film Festival of Shimla: IFFS, which will take place in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, from September 5 to 7. At the I.E. F. F. K. in Kozhikode, Njan Revathi won the Audience Poll Award for Best Film. Njan Revathi was shown as an Indian Documentary Center Peace Film at the Reel Desires - Chennai International Queer Film Festival in Chennai, as well as the Mumbai KASHISH Pride Film Festival, which is the biggest LGBTQ film festival in South Asia.
Following the release of Antharam, for which transgender lady Neha won the State Film Award, P. Abhijith directed the lengthy documentary Njan Revathi. The documentary features writers Perumal Murugan and Annie Raja, as well as drama directors Mankai Sreejith Sundaram, Renju Ranjimar, Sheetal Shyam, Surya Ishan, Ishan K. Shan, Jee Iman Semmeler, Shyam, Chandini Gagana, Bhanu, Mayil, Vadivu Amma, Umi, Lakshmi, Kalai Selvan, Kanaka, Bhagyam, Kannai, Angel Glady, and others.
