Chennai gives a new movie a makeover
Filming for the new movie featuring Kalyani Priyadarshan has begun at the Chennai Potential Studios. The movie is Potential Studios' seventh project, and filming will begin in Chennai. Kalyani Priyadarshan, who starred in the industry hit Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra, which brought in Rs 300 crores, is another notable aspect of the movie.
After releasing highly regarded movies, setting impressive collection records like Maya, Maanagaram, Monster, Taanakkaran, Irugapatru, and Black Potential Studios' latest project has formally begun. The shooting of this film began on 19 November 2025 in Chennai with traditional pooja ceremonies. For its partnership with Kalyani Priyadarshan, Potential Studios, which is setting the standard for producing box office blockbusters through an alternative narrative style, has already raised expectations.
The soundtrack for the film is composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
