"Ganga Yamuna Sindhu Saraswati," a window into the lives of women, began in Kochi
Kochi is the starting point for four films created by four directors under a single title. The pooja of the anthology movie Ganga Yamuna Sindhu Saraswati, by debutant directors Saju Navodaya, Shiju Anchumana, Prasanth Kanjiramattom, and Lal Priyan under the banner of Pen Cinemas, was held at Palarivattom POC.
Ganga Samuna Sindhu Saraswati's topic is an insight into women's lives. Director Saju Savodaya noted that although the film progresses through the experiences of women around us, these four stories are not exclusively women-oriented films. The film, according to director Shiju Anchumana, depicts the lives of those around us from the perspectives of women. The film's directors, Shiju Anchumana and Prashanth Kanjiramattam, stated that while it explores women's lives, it also explores family life moments that will appeal to a wide range of viewers. This film, which highlights societal realities, is being prepared by a collective, according to producer T. R. Devan. He stated that the film's production, which is being planned by bringing together top Malayalam actors, will soon start in Kochi and Vattavada.
Actor and producer Lal conducted the pooja rites' official opening. Actor and director Johnny Antony, Sohan Seenulal, AMMA General Secretary Kukku Parameswaran, actresses Abhija Sivakala and Deepthi Mary Varghese, Sajan Palluruthi, Pradeep Palluruthy, Suneesh Varanad, Sasikala V Menon, Kuruvila Mathews, Kalabhavan Joshi, Baiju Jose, and numerous others from the arts, literature, film, and politics took part.
