The filming of Pradhama Dhrishtya Kuttakkar, featuring Parvathy Thiruvothu, who has built her name in Malayalam cinema with her acting abilities, began on Monday, January 2nd, 2026, at Koothattukulam. Mrs. Jebi Mather MP and Parvathy Thiruvothu lit the first Bhadradeepam, kicking off the shoot. Later, the cast and crew finished the ceremony. The first clap came from executive producer Manoj Kumar and was switched by Sidharth Bharathan and Parvathy Thiruvothu. The occasion was also attended by actors Vinay Forrt, Mathew Thomas, Azees Nedumangad, Jayashree, and Municipal Chairman Roji John. Following the pooja ceremonies, filming proceeded at the police station set designed by art director Makesh Mohanan.

The thriller genre depicts unforeseen happenings in the professional life of a woman who accepts a position as a police constable through a dependent appointment. The film is billed as an entirely illustrative investigative thriller. Parvathy Thiruvothu plays the main character. Parvathy, who has been acting for 20 years, is playing a police officer for the first time. Parvathy Thiruvothu revealed that she had spent the previous few months preparing physically and mentally to play this persona. According to director Shahad, a large portion of the film's scenes are set in a police station.

Mujeeb Majeed composed the music for Pradhama Dhrishtya Kuttakkar.
