SYNOPSIS
Vicky (prithvi) who comes home from the gulf at the age of ten to attend the funeral of his grandfather. He accompanies his parents (sagar shiyas, urvashi) who are quite pompous. The event sees the coming of many relatives from different parts and the entire rituals takes sixteen days. Vicky feels strange at the start but eventually gets connected out of his curiosity. The story takes a turn when the relatives begin to talk about the dividing of the property. As for Vicky, he joins hands with his cousins to ensure that their housemaid Roja (vyjayanthi) goes to Sivakasi, her hometown.
