The Derby of Sajil Mampad has started

Derby is a Malayalam movie directed by Sajil Mampad, after Kadakan. The main actors from the movie Pani, Sagar Surya, Junaiz VP, and Anu, return for this film. The main actors are Ameen, Fahiz Bin Rifai, Rish NK, Johnny Antony, Harisree Ashokan, Abu Salim, and others. In addition to them, this movie also features a large number of new faces. Manzour Abdul Razac and Deema Manzour are producing the movie under the Demanz Film Factory label. The screenplay for Derby is written by Zahru Zuhra and Ameer Suhail based on the story of Fahiz Bin Rifai and Sameer Khan.

Derby movie is marketed as a fun, action-packed, new-generation picture set on a college campus. "Derby" means "competition." Two groups compete with one another in this movie. This movie is going to be a mass entertainer.

Following the well-reviewed action movie Kadakan, Sajil Mampad's flick Derby has started production. On Saturday, April 26, a ceremony was conducted at the Kochi Crowne Plaza Hotel to launch the movie. In front of a sizable crowd of filmmakers, friends, family, and crew, well-known actors Harisree Ashokan and Johny Antony ignited the first Bhadradeepam. The event was later completed by other actors and crew members. The switch-on ceremony was conducted by producer Manzour Abdul Razac and Deema Manzour. Directors Salam Bappu, Sajid Yahiya, Johnny Antony, Harisree Ashokan, Sagar Surya, Junaiz VP, Shafi Kollam, NM Badusha, Hakkim Shah, and Manikanda Rajan spoke and wished the audience a good day.

Ashwin Aryan is the composer of the music for the musically significant movie Derby.

The film Derby's production will start in Manjeri on May 6.
