Djinn Malayalam movie directed by Sidharth Bharathan after "Varnyathil Aashanka". Features Soubin Shahir as the lead character with Sharaf U Dheen, Shine Tom Chacko, Sabumon Abdusamad, Jaffer Idukki, Nishanth Sagar, Sudheesh, Santhy Balachandran, Leona Lishoy, KPAC Lalitha, Gilu Joseph, Binny Rinky Benjamin, and Baby Fiona. The movie Jinn is produced by Sudheer VK, and Manu Valiyaveettil under the banner of Straight Line Cinemas. Rajesh Gopinathan, the writer of Dulquer Salmaan and Sai Pallavi starrer movie 'Kali' has penned the screenplay for the movie. Jamneesh Thayyil is the executive producer and Joshvin Joy, Chitrangatha Kurup, and Nadheem PK are the co-producers of the movie Djinn.

Actor Dulquer Salmaan released the title poster on 5^th May 2019 through his Facebook page. The teaser of the movie 'Djinn' has been released on 10^th March 2022.

Synopsis

Lalappan, who hails from a small town in Kasargode, has a psychological condition that causes him to behave differently under stressful circumstances. His friend once took him to a distant city while others sought to place him in a hospital, giving him hope for a brighter life if he could just do one thing for that friend.
What we observe in Djinn is how Lalappan's life is altered by that choice.
