Varayan Malayalam action comedy movie directed by debut Jijo Joseph. Features Siju Wilson in the lead with Master Da Vinci, Leona Lishoy, Maniyanpilla Raju, Joy Mathew, Vijayaraghavan, Bindu Panicker, Jayashankar, Jude Anthany Joseph, Aristo Suresh, Baiju Ezhupuna, Ambika Mohan, Rajesh Ambalapuzha, Sreelakshmi, Hariprashanth Varma, and Sundar Pandyan. Scripted by Fr. Danny Capuchin, and produced by AG Premachandran under the banner of Satyam Cinemas.

Along with Siju Wilson, Naz, a Belgian Malinois dog, appears in the film as the full-length character Tiger.

The official promo song 'Eadanin Madhu Nirayum Kani' of the movie 'Varayan' has been released on Satyam Audios YouTube channel. The song was sung by Sanah Moidutty, Prakash Alex composed the music from the lyrics of BK Harinarayanan. The official video song for the movie 'Varayan' has been released on 2^nd April 2022. The song starts with 'Para Para Para Paarupenne ...' sung by Mathai Sunil and Bijibal, Jibin Gopal, Madhu Paul, Vijay Jacob, Poby, and Prakash also sing along.

Varayan movie was released in theaters by Satyam Cinemas on May 20^th of 2022. The movie was planned for theatrical release on the May 28^th of 2021 but was postponed due to lockdown. The film was shot before the lock-down due to covid-19 and was ready for release after post-production work. And the team expected it to be a theatrical watchable movie and waiting for the theaters to be open after the pandemic. The Malayalam film Varayan is streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 9^th March 2023.

Synopsis

The story takes place in the village of Kalippakkara. The villagers are hostile by nature and dislike having outsiders govern them. As a result, even the locals' police force is afraid to approach them. When the village priest attempted to assist the police, he was killed by one of the people.
The movie Varayan tells the narrative of what happens in Kalippakkara when a new priest arrives to take charge.
