Synopsis

KUMARI is one of her family's two surviving members. She lives with her uncles, as does her older brother, Jayan. Kumari is forced into marriage after receiving a proposal from a prominent Northern family. They give her away to DHRUVAN, a reclusive and private man. She gradually connects with him, creates a strong bond, and envisions their future together. Then the much-anticipated news arrives: she is expecting a child. Everything around her begins to alter after that. She and Dhruvan part ways, and long-standing customs begin to reappear. ~~(ads)~~ Kumari is forced to take matters into her own hands after becoming entangled in the Kanjirangaad men's struggle for supremacy and their rituals.
