Banerghatta is prepared as a multilingual suspense thriller film starring Karthik Ramakrishnan with Vinod, Anoop, Sunil, Anoop AS, and Asha Menon. Story and directed by debut Vishnu Narayanan who has been a classmate of Karthik since his school days. Produced by Mithun Tharakan under the banner of Copyright Pictures. Screenplay and dialogues by Arjun Prabhakar and Gokul Ramakrishnan, the directors of the 2019 movie Shibu.

The first look poster of the movie was released through the Facebook page of Malayalam movie stars on 27^th January 2021.

The film tells the story of a driver, the lies he has to tell to many people at different times, and the events that he goes through without even knowing it.

Just like the title of the movie 'Bannerghatta' a biological park located near Bangalore, Karnataka named Banneru Ghatta National Park.

Bannerghatta movie released on July 25^th of 2021, by Amazon prime video in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. This film was planned as the third film to be released directly on Amazon after Drishyam 2 and Joji but postponed.

Synopsis

After receiving a call from Ashiq's sister who traveled alone to Bangalore for an interview. Ashik learned via the phone that his sister is alone on a barren road, being pursued by a bunch of people from the adjacent suburbs. The plot revolves around Ashiq's actions to save his sister from those individuals at a distance of 400 kilometers or more.
