The cinematography of the movie is handled by Vivek Menon. Girish Menon is the production designer of Oru Anweshanathinte Thudakkam. The chief associate director is Krishna Kumar and the associate directors are Ramesh Amanath and Shameer Salam.

M Mukesh, who ran in the most recent Lok Sabha elections as an LDF candidate in the Kollam constituency, is returning to the acting profession. Mukesh spent more than two months working nonstop on the campaign trail. The Left's candidates were declared, and the campaign got underway even before the election was formally announced. Mukesh, an MLA, had no expectations when he decided to run for Lok Sabha. After the elections, Mukesh—who was totally engrossed in the elections—came to play in MA Nishad's written and directed film Oru Anveshanathinte Thudakkam. On April 28, Mukesh started working on the project, which is presently taking place in Kottayam. Mukesh arrived in Kottayam to take action the day after the election on the 26^th. The Kottayam Press Club served as the location for filming. When Mukesh arrived at the press club, the representatives of the press club greeted him. As the name suggests, this movie is a fully investigative thriller. On 13 April 2024, a training session with the actors portraying police roles in the movie has been scheduled, with retired Crime Branch SP Shanawas and former DGP Lokanath Behera in attendance.

MA Nishad is an accomplished Malayalam filmmaker who has helmed several noteworthy films. Nishad made his feature film debut, leading Prithviraj's Pakal.
