Ekadhanda Malayalam movie directed by Mahesh Parayil. Features Deepak Parambol as the lead character. Produced by Shabeer Pathan and Nithin Sainu Mundackal under the banner of Shimoga Creations in association with Dream Cinemas. Nijay Gosh Narayanan penned the story and screenplay.

The film was earlier named 'Ottakomban' and changed to Ekadhanda. There have been several films that have been renamed after announcing titles of the same name. Ottakomban has to be directed by newcomer Mahesh Parayil and Ottakompan starring Suresh Gopi, two films which were announced two months apart. Although the names of both films have been actively discussed among film lovers, Mahesh and his team have changed their names without giving way to other controversies.

Director Mahesh Parayil is notable for his short films and web series. The main locations of the film are Idukki, Wayanad, and Thodupuzha. Filming will begin in early 2022, following Covid standards.
