The second production of Theatre Of Dreams announcement on 18^th August 2021 through the social media pages of Big M's Mammootty and Mohanlal. The production team announced that the movie will be directed by Venu and finally changed to Shaji Kailas. Saregama and Theater of Dreams will release the film in theaters. The Malayalam film Kaapa is streaming from 19^th January 2023 on Netflix.

Synopsis

The gang warfare that took place in Trivandrum city is the backdrop for the film. Anand, a technologist who moved to the area with his expectant wife Binu, learns that his wife has a history with the legendary mobster Kotta Madhu. We watch Anand's attempts to resolve the situation with Madhu and what transpires in Kaapa because he wanted to make sure Binu was secure because she was pregnant.
