Station 5 Malayalam movie directed by newcomer Prasanth Kanathur. Prayan plays the lead character with Thottappan fame Priyamvada Krishnan as the heroine. Indrans plays a strong character named Chevambai in the film. Sivakumar, son of Krishnankutty Nair, is the villain. Produced by BA Maya under the banner of Map Film Factory. Dayana Hameed, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Rajesh Sharma, Sunil Sukhada, Vinod Kovoor, IM Vijayan, Dinesh Panicker, Anoop Chandran, James Eliya, Master Da Vinci, Palanisamy, Sharin, Jyothi Chandran, Devi Krishna, Priya Harish, Girish Karamel are also in the cast.

It has been a quarter of a century since Krishnankutty Nair said goodbye. His son Sivakumar is also making his mark in cinema as an actor. Like his father, Sivakumar also entered the film industry from drama. He made his film debut in G Aravindan’s film adaptation of his own play ‘Marattam’. He played various roles in films such as 'Utopiayile Rajavu', ‘Aami’, 'Koode', 'Ottaal' and 'Ozhimuri'.

Director Prashanth Kanathur has helmed more than a dozen short films and won many accolades.

The title poster was released on 6^th October 2021 by screenwriter cum actor Renji Panicker and lyricist Rafeeq Ahmed on their Facebook page.

Station 5 movie was released in theaters on January 7^th of 2022.
