Synopsis

Living next to the river in a one-room house are Lakshmi and her brother Shiva. Shiva is mentally ill, so Lakshmi keeps him tied in the room while she works in the kitchen and sells fish. Corona is the cause of Lakshmi's death. Shiva is rendered impotent in the absence of food and drink. Shiva is unchained by his companion Babu after the locals fail to assist him. Shiva was lying on the road, exhausted, when the medical personnel took him to the hospital.
